Laketown Priory was formerly known as "The Cult of the Stuffed Crocodile" before a patrol from Northcamp to Greystrand Iceni discovered the abandon village and decided to convert it to a new purpose. The village is long gone, and now there stands the village of Claystrand
Background[]
Before the outbreak of The Nexal War Laketown was a modest settlement living on the fringes of society. It's citizens were comprised of local farmers and settlers, and The Night Lords. The idyllic life style was not to last however, as the Nexal Empire had declared all of the clay to belong to them. Shortly before the war broke out, the Nexal Empire moved against Laketown, destroying the settlement.
Years after the conflict the Knights of St. Joan discovered partial ruins of the settlement, now called the Cult of the Stuffed Crocodile. Out of sentimentality they fixed up the ruins, and the Laketown Priory stood as the western gateway to the Nexal Empire.
