Buildings and other constructions that a player can make using items and tools. They give many advantages to the smart player and organized group.


Basic Structures[]

  • These basic structures do not require a skill to create.

Campfire[]

Required Materials: 10 Sticks
Required Tools: Two hands with opposable thumbs

Purpose: Provides an extra 0.3 AP per hour, cooking raw meat, brewing herbal tea


Stockpile[]

Purpose: Storage unit for items


Residences and Shelters[]

It's always easier to sleep with a roof over your head. These buildings provide extra AP and a place to take shelter.

Hut[]

Required Materials: 5 staves, 20 sticks
Required Tools: Two hands with opposable thumbs

Other Requirements: Construction skill, flat ground. (Unlike Longhouses, huts can be built in forests and on hills.)


Longhouse[]

Required Materials: First half - 12 Timber, Second half - 12 Timber
Required Tools: Stone carpentry tools
AP to Build: 50 per stage
XP Gained from Building: 35 cXP per stage
Building HP: 50
Other Requirements: Construction skill, Must be built in a settlement, flat ground


Cottage[]

Required Materials: First half - 6 Stone blocks, Second half - 10 planks of timber
Required Tools: Set of Masonry Tools
AP to Build: 50 per stage
XP Gained from Building: 35 cXP per stage
Building HP: 70
Other Requirements: Masonry skill, Construction skill, flat ground
Purpose: Cottages may be built outside of settlements.


Infrastructure[]

These buildings are used by settlements to facilitate certain tasks. They can only be built in settlements, with the exception of the Totem Pole, which creates a settlement.

Totem Pole[]

Required Materials: 1 Log
Required Tools: Two hands with opposable thumbs
AP to Build: 30
XP Gained from Building: 0
Building HP: 30
Other Requirements: Settling skill, Three huts must be nearby, Site must be 20 tiles away from all other totem poles. See Settlements
Purpose: Allows settlements to be founded


Workshop[]

Required Materials: 6 planks of timber, 4 sets of stone carpentry tools
Required Tools: Set of stone carpentry tools (see above)
AP to Build: 25
XP Gained from Building: 25 cXP
Building HP: 50
Other Requirements: Artisanship skill.
Purpose: Being inside a Workshop reduces the amount of AP spent when crafting


Hospital[]

Required Materials: 7 thyme sprigs, 7 pieces of willow bark, 7 herbal poultices
AP to Build: 25

Building HP: 50
Other Requirements: Hospitaller skill.
Purpose: Improves healing efficiency


Stonemasonry[]

Required Materials: 6 stones, 2 boulders, 4 sets of masonry tools

Purpose: Craft Stone Blocks out of Boulders, allowing for the construction of Stone Buldings.

Purpose: Creating flour and bread .


Kiln[]

Required Materials: 7 stone blocks

Purpose: Used to craft pots and ocarinas


Wall[]

Other Requirements: Masonry skill. Can only be built on Meadow tiles, or Roads. Can be built outside of settlement boundaries.
Purpose: Prevents access to areas.
Notes: There is a 70 AP cost to attempt to climb a wall.

Gatehouse[]

Required Materials: 6 Stone Blocks (Stage One), 12 Planks of Timber (Stage Two)
Required Tools: 1 set of Masonry Tools (stage 1) 1 set of Stone Carpentry Tools (stage 2)
AP to Build: 50 Stage One, 50 Stage Two
XP Gained from Building: ? (stage 1) 35 cXP (stage 2)
Building HP: ?
Other Requirements: Masonry skill. Non-enterable.
Purpose: Allows settlement members easy access while making it harder for non-members to enter
Notes: Costs 5AP to move onto if you are a member of the settlement, 55AP if you are not

Landscape Manipulation[]

Humans are always trying to change the land surrounding them.

Dirt Track[]

Required Materials: Meadow tile
Required Tools: 1 digging stick
AP to Build: 20
XP Gained from Building: 12 cXP
Building HP: N/A
Other Requirements: Trailblazing skill
Purpose: Turns the square into dirt in order to allow for construction of roads on a well traveled stretch of land. Reduces cost of travel by 0.5 AP
Notes: Searching grass tiles to the 'picked clean' status, turns the tile into a dirt track.


Field[]

Required Materials: Meadow tile
Required Tools: 1 digging stick

Purpose: Purveys messages for passers-by. Naught but a surface to write on.


Hunter's Shrine[]

Required Materials: 1 Lion Pelt, 1 Wolf Pelt, 3 Stone Spears, 2 Sabre Teeth, 2 Horns, 1 Small Pelt, 1 Bear Skin, 1 Pelt, 1 Crocodile Skin, 2 Antlers
Required Tools: Two hands with opposable thumbs
AP to Build: 50
XP Gained from Building: 50 cXP
Building HP: 50
Other Requirements: Divine inspiration, must be built in an existing hut. The hut will be converted to a hunter's shrine.
Purpose: Tourist Attraction. Being inside a hunter's shrine provides an extra 1 AP per hour. May be built outside of settlements. It is unknown what other benefits the hunter's shrine might give. It is possible that it would be better classified as a Residence/Shelter intended as an alternative to the cottage, utilizing animal products and weapons rather than stone blocks- thus, as a shelter for hunters.


Fertility Shrine[]

Required Materials: 3 pots of water, 10 wheat, 3 stone sickle, 10 herbal poultice, 10 herbal teas

Other Requirements: Divine Inspiration, must be built in an existing hut. The hut will be converted to a Fertility Shrine
Purpose: Increases the fertility of the surrounding area. The Fertility Shrine also provides and extra +1 AP regeneration.
